An HDPE electrofusion reducer is a pipe fitting used to join two HDPE pipes of different diameters, allowing for a smooth transition in flow between pipes of varying sizes. The fitting contains integrated electrical heating coils, which, when connected to an electrofusion machine, heat and melt the surfaces of both the reducer and the pipes.
